Medication refills are completed during regular office hours. To maintain the highest level of safety in managing your medications, we ask our patients to follow these steps to have your prescription refilled:

• If you use a local pharmacy, simply have your pharmacist fax your current prescription request to 978-744-3468 and they will renew the order with your doctor and fax it back to your pharmacy.
• If you order your prescriptions by mail, please call 978-741-1644 to request a mail-order prescription. They will print your prescription and mail it directly to you or leave it for you to pick up at the front desk. Please specify which method you prefer. You may also use a prescription renewal request form provided by your mail-order pharmacy and your office will fax these forms directly to your pharmacy for you.
• While most mail-order prescription requests are filled the same day, please allow 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends for prescriptions to be processed. To ensure that all prescriptions are processed timely and accurately, we ask you to provide the following information:
  • Your name (please spell) and address
  • Your date of birth
  • Name of the physician who is ordering the prescription
  • Name of the medication (please spell)
  • Strength of medication (i.e. 5 mg, 10 mg, etc.)
  • How many times a day you take the medication
  • Name of mail-order pharmacy
  • Phone number where you may be reached if we have a question
