The North Shore Physicians Group Hospitalist Program at NSMC specializes in the care of hospitalized patients and their unique conditions. Hospitalists manage your care while you are in the hospital, monitoring your progress around-the-clock, coordinating and consulting with specialists, and staying in close touch with you, your family and your primary care physician. Hospitalists DON'T maintain a practice outside the hospital; instead they focus their attention on patients inside the hospital. Once you are discharged from the hospital your hospitalist coordinates the necessary plan of care with your primary care physician, thereby insuring you have a smooth transition back to your daily lifestyle.

Our hospitalists are either board certified or board eligible in their specialities, which include Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Family Practice.
