NSPG gastroenterologists are expert in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, which includes the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and biliary tract. The conditions they treat include Crohn's disease, cirrhosis, colon cancer (screening and prevention), advanced liver disease (including transplant referral), diverticulitis, esophageal disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease and biliary/pancreatic disease.

Endoscopy services are provided at North Shore Medical Center, and include colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), esophageal manometry, flexible sigmoidoscopy, treatment of GERD and acute GI bleeding, coagulation therapy and more.
