North Shore Physician Group (NSPG) has state-of-the-art Bone Density Testing capability at our Lynn and Swampscott offices. This service enables our physicians to accurately diagnose patients early, so that we can begin treatment to maintain bone health and ultimately decrease bone loss. A bone mineral density (BMD) test is an enhanced form of X-ray technology that is used to measure the level of minerals (such as calcium) in your bones, which in turn indicates how dense and strong your bones are.
